Community Supported Agriculture
*Our 2019 main-season shares are sold-out, fall shares are still available*
We are so very excited to offer weekly produce boxes to our community in 2019. Your commitment to a share in Future Farm provides you access to the bounty of our harvest, new ideas about how to cook with your produce, and an invitation to be a part of our farm community. Your CSA subscription allows us to offer products directly to you, resulting in fresher and more abundant goods. This model also creates a close relationship for members to the farm where their food is grown.
Produce begins mid May and runs to mid- October. Exact dates will be announced soon. A fall crop season extension will be available this year for those interested in an additional 5 weeks.
May and June will focus on a variety of greens (mustard, kale, arugula, spinach), lettuce, peas, radishes, fennel, garlic, scallions and rapini.
By mid-July we should have more of the same, adding in early tomatoes, cucumbers, green beans, swiss chard, dill, parsley, new potatoes and summer squash.
August-October will be a profusion of summer bounty-- heirloom, cherry and roma tomatoes, eggplant, basil, peppers mild and a few hot, cutting broccoli, and eventually, winter squash, garlic and shallots.
A wide and abundant variety of lettuces and hearty greens will be a running theme. We are always experimenting with new varieties and take great joy in including those you may not see in the grocery store.
22 weeks of seasonal vegetables that feed 2-4 people depending on your cooking style. Share will also include culinary and a few medicinal herbs with the occasional preserved or apothecary treat.
22 weeks of the same offerings, feeding 1-2 people depending on your cooking style.
